Frequently Asked Questions

Midlife and Menopause Telemedicine Care

  • I specialize in caring for women experiencing the transitions and challenges of midlife. This includes support for perimenopause, menopause, sexual health concerns, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), suboptimal thyroid function, and weight management. My care is personalized and rooted in evidence-based strategies to help you feel like yourself again.

  • Yes. I order comprehensive lab testing to evaluate your hormone health, though it’s important to know that hormone levels—especially during perimenopause—fluctuate. Rather than focusing on single values, I look for patterns and trends over time. I partner with Quest Diagnostics, which allows you to conveniently complete labs using your insurance benefits. Once your results are available, we’ll go over them together during your visit to ensure your treatment plan is truly personalized.

  • Based on your unique symptoms, health history, and treatment preferences, I may prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapies (such as patches, gels, pills, or vaginal estrogen), compounded hormones when clinically appropriate, or non-hormonal medications to help with symptoms like hot flashes, mood changes, sleep disturbances, or bone health. I’ll also help you navigate insurance coverage, manufacturer coupons, and cash-pay discounts so you can access the most affordable and effective options. Every treatment plan is personalized—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

  • While I do not contract with insurance companies, I provide a superbill after your visit that you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. My practice is fully cash-pay, which allows me to provide longer, more personalized visits and direct access to your care without insurance barriers. However, you may still use your insurance benefits for labs, imaging (such as bone density scans), and prescriptions—helping reduce your overall out-of-pocket costs.

  • Your first visit is a 60-minute virtual consultation where we take a deep dive into your symptoms, health history, and personal goals. I’ll listen carefully, ask the right questions, and work with you to co-create a plan that fits your life. We’ll review your hormone health, order any necessary labs or imaging, and explore both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options so that you can make informed decisions about your care.

  • Follow-up visits are 30 minutes and focus on fine-tuning your care based on your lab results, symptoms, and personal goals. We’ll evaluate how your treatment is working, discuss any changes or concerns, and adjust your plan accordingly. These visits are collaborative and designed to help you make steady, sustainable progress.

  • That depends on your preferences and your health goals. Most patients choose to be seen every 6 to 12 weeks, but you’ll decide what cadence feels right for you. I offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs while maintaining consistent, supportive care.

  • Every patient’s care plan is personalized, so pricing varies based on your needs and goals. I’ll always be transparent about costs and help you choose a plan that works for you. During your discovery process, I’ll provide a clear breakdown of your program options and payment plan details.

  • Yes. I offer structured 6- and 12-month care programs that can be paid monthly. This model allows you to access high-touch, personalized care in a way that’s manageable and sustainable.

  • We understand that circumstances can change, and we strive to be transparent and fair in our cancellation terms. You may cancel your membership before your first appointment or within 14 days following your initial visit for a full refund, minus a $600 non-refundable consultation fee. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of your cancellation request.

After the 14-day window, all cancellations require 30 days’ written notice. If the termination date falls mid-month or mid-program, any unused portion of membership fees will be refunded, less the cost of services already provided.

  • At the end of your 6- or 12-month program, you’ll have the option to transition into a monthly membership for continued support or shift to a pay-per-visit model if you prefer occasional care.
